Cleaned out some old pieces that in my view had no real purpose to stay there anymore. It's funny to look back at such old pieces and see where you've improved and such. Also, my DA subby will be running out soon. I hope to renew it before it does but with no job (eek.) that may not be an option at the present time. Also lost my wallet, so that's always fun. Thankfully there hasn't been any "mysterious" charges on credit cards and such, so that leads me to really believe it's somewhere in the house I just can't seem to find. Meh.
Hope you are all fine and dandy! Also...though a bit early, Have a Spooky Halloween!
I've finally gotten around to making a more proper chart for possible commissions and such. Although I've scanned through a few times to try to spot any spelling errors on it feel free to mention any if you see them o.o Aside from the chart there are a few other things I should mention to be safe:
If for any reason something should come up where I cannot finish your commission you will be notified for a full refund. To add to this, if you are purchasing a commission that you would like by a specific deadline/time, you MUST give me at least one week's time notice.
You are allowed to use said artwork however you see fit, provided I get credit as it's artist. [This excludes merchandise like shirts and such. If I find any art of mine being sold without my consent action will be taken.]
If you see any specific images I may have done that you wish your piece to look similar to in terms of style, feel free to let me know. My style human wise often varies.
Hard-Shading Commissions are quicker to do compared to Soft-shading, in case time was something of an issue.
To add a second character to ANY commission, I will charge an extra half of the commission price. [Ex: To have a chibi couple, it would be 10+5.]
Please do not ask me to draw the following: -Sexual/Adult Material -Ponies -Fetish Material -Offensive Material
Lastly, I will keep commissioners updated in terms of progress and such. Not to spam, but I do want to make sure I can provide the best image I can And of course by all means you are free to ask me any questions of said progress or possible changes of sketches.
I got it for Animal Crossing mainly, as I noticed I had a lot of villagers I did NOT want to lose. When I first started I was unaware how popular some of the villagers I had were to others in big groups and such. My favorites like Colton, Chief and Lucky must be kept forever ;w; But there are times I don't play for a few days and I get so nervous to check back in. I did this yesterday after not playing for about 3 days. Luckily I didn't lose someone, in fact I saw my camp set up. Turns out I had Skye visiting, so I managed to snag her up too >w< I may make some doodles of them since some villagers are just too cute!
It is a bit nerve-wrecking to try to find jobs that relate to the field of your interest, only to find the very few requiring experience you do not have. True, I'm aware many artist double with other jobs to make ends meet while supporting themselves. Of course this is the road I plan to take, however it seems so hard to gain the experience needed for the jobs that really appeal to you. Not to mention it seems dream jobs such as character design or storyboarding, or animation always seem to be no where near my area. Sigh.
My family is my ultimate support, without them I wouldn't be here. Yet they push me to lean to rather dull jobs. My worst fear it to "settle" for a burger flipping job and never amounting to much. They worry so much, and I understand why, though I just wish it would be easier to show them I can do it and to ease their minds.
My resume only has art school to go on with actual jobs being retail. Joy. I've tried for some internships, though it seems luck isn't on my side with those. I do wonder if I should stop now considering internships are usually aimed towards fresh-out of school people and I graduated about 2-3 years ago?
If any are in NYC and can somewhat relate, then hey, best of luck to you my friend.
I don't wanna goooooo. [Waking up at 5 is a killer at times heh.] To top that off, I won't be going to NY Comic Con this year Though I do have a vacation in Florida to look forward to in December. [Though I'm still debating if I will be going...] All these plans and not plans. Meh.
I may finally kick my butt to start my little fan comic. Staring one familiar Amy as well as others, and also some fan OC's. [I'll try to focus on the canon characters though.]
Let's see...oh! And my room is no longer filled with husky fur for now...
